2020 CGS Membership Renewal

CGS members will receive their 2020 membership renewal emails in the coming days, and the website will be open for renewals at that time. At the GeoSt.John's 2019 conference, the CGS Board of Directors and the CGS Members Assembly voted to maintain fees at the 2019 level: Regular Member - $220; Retired Member - $70; Student Member - $45. The fees are the same for national and international members.

CGS membership benefits include:

• online access to the monthly Canadian Geotechnical Journal (including all past issues) and special pricing for the printed version;

• printed and online copies of the new quarterly Canadian Geotechnique - The CGS Magazine;

• the monthly CGS E-News;

• online access to past CGS Conference proceedings and featured special lectures;

• reduced member pricing for CGS annual conference registrations;

• advanced notice of the spring and fall CGS Cross Canada Lecture Tours;

• primary membership in one of CGS’s seven technical divisions, and for Regular Members the associated international society;

• involvement in one of 20 CGS local sections;

• participation in any of the eight CGS committees;

• involvement in the society for all Canadian geotechnical professionals.

We welcome all renewing members and look forward to your participation in 2020. For your colleagues who may not be CGS members yet, this is the perfect time to join! We encourage you to introduce them to the CGS as the benefits that the Society offers to our profession continue to grow.
