The Southern Ontario Section of the Canadian Geotechnical Society is an active professional group whose mandate is to provide continued education and encourage constructive dialog amongst our members. In this role, we facilitate monthly presentations, annual educational seminars, a Cross-Canada Lecture Tour, graduate student competition, CGS-SOS Undergraduate work term scholarship and our annual golf tournament. CGS-SOS continues to organize and fund the annual Graduate Student Competition and invites students to attend our monthly dinner presentations at no charge. Registration for all events are now booked solely online using Eventbrite.
