GeoNiagara 2021, taking place in Niagara Falls on September 26-29, will be a hybrid conference with a virtual component for delegates who are unable to attend in-person. Details regarding the hybrid-style conference will be provided by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) as they become available. The LOC recognizes the importance of monitoring the ongoing Covid-19 protocols as outlined by the Government of Canada and Public Health Ontario, and is focussed on providing a comfortable and safe experience for all delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors. They are optimistic that GeoNiagara 2021 will be primarily in-person, and a great opportunity for CGS members to connect face-to-face.
As CGS conferences have done in the past few years, GeoNiagara 2021 will host a Women’s Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, September 28. The event will encourage discussion about how to support and engage women in the geotechnical field, with a few words from CGS Executive Committee members, personal introductions, breakfast, and time for networking.
