Six CGS Members to Receive 2022 EIC Medals and Fellowships
The Engineering Institute of Canada has announced the recipients of the 2022 EIC Medals and Fellowships. The CGS is proud to report that our members will receive three of the five EIC Medals to be presented, and three of the 20 EIC Fellowships awarded.
CGS members receiving 2022 EIC Medals are:
- Jean-Pierre Tournier, Expert Consultant at Hydro-Quebec (Quebec), will be awarded the K.Y. Lo Medal “for significant engineering contributions at the international level”.
- Dharma Wijewickreme, Professor at University of British Columbia (BC), will be awarded the John B. Stirling Medal “for leadership and distinguished service at the national level”.
- Craig Lake, Professor at Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia), will be awarded the CPR Engineering Medal “for leadership and distinguished service at the regional/local levels”.
CGS members receiving 2022 EIC Fellowships include:
- Jim Oswell, Naviq Consulting Inc. (Alberta)
- Leo Rothenburg, University of Waterloo (Ontario)
- Brian T. Rogers, Klohn Crippen Berger (Calgary)
