Current CGS Vice President Technical and Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Ottawa, Mamadou Fall was recently awarded a University Research Chair in Geotechnical Engineering for Net Zero Transitions. This new chair recognizes Professor Fall's ground-breaking research program in sustainable infrastructure. Professor Fall’s research is centered around the premise of designing resilient and sustainable geoengineering structures for producing clean energy, something our world needs to combat climate change.
